WILMINGTON, DE (December 22, 2016) — The Del-One Foundation is a nonprofit corporation that raises funds for charitable purposes to benefit the residents of Delaware. A Board of volunteers chooses charities to sponsor each year, based on suggestions from employees of Del-One Federal Credit Union. The staff, members, families, and friends of Del-One FCU participate in various fundraising activities throughout the year to raise funds and awareness for the chosen charities. Several charity walks were sponsored in 2016, including the Shamrock Scramble 5K to benefit Kay’s Kamp, and a clothing drive was held at all branches to benefit Clothing Our Kids, from which over 15 bags of children’s clothing was collected. In 2016, over $47,000 was raised and donated through candy sales, membership dues, employee “jeans days”, painting events, and the 5th annual charity golf tournament.
The Del-One Foundation is a nonprofit corporation that has been formed to raise funds for charitable purposes, specifically the purpose of benefitting the residents of Delaware .
