Hanscom Federal Credit Union is proud to announce that Denise Bouchard has been promoted to the role of Assistant Vice President, Information Security Officer. She oversees the Information Security team, reporting directly to Chief Information Officer David Minker.
Denise joined Hanscom FCU in early 2018 as the Information Security Officer. Since then, she has matured the credit union’s Information Security practice through the introduction of several critical programs, effectively strengthening the organization's defenses against a myriad of threats. She has become deeply involved in internal and external audits, running point for the department and ensuring that Hanscom FCU member, employee, and business information remains safe and protected.
Among Denise’s more recent accomplishments was the completion of a Certified Information Security Manager certificate. This uniquely management-focused certification promotes international security best practices and recognizes the individual who manages, designs, assesses, and oversees the entirety of an enterprise’s information security posture.
“Denise is an asset to the credit union and to our members,” said David Sprague, Hanscom FCU’s President/CEO. “Supporting the growth of our employees is important to us, and we’re proud to recognize her past accomplishments as well as her future potential through this advancement. We look forward to reaping even more benefits of her experience and expertise.”
