Desert Schools Federal Credit Union activates new outreach initiative aimed at providing unique experiences and increasing membership

PHOENIX, AZ (November 13, 2013) -- Sports and tailgating fans across the Valley have something new to cheer about with the recent activation of a new experience from Desert Schools Federal Credit Union. Dubbed the “DS Live Ultimate Pre-Game Experience,” the program is the newest initiative of the state’s largest not-for-profit membership-based financial institution that is aimed at reaching potential new members in a non-invasive and entertaining way.

The DS Live Ultimate Pre-Game Experience has events scheduled around town at entertainment events and upcoming home games for the Phoenix Coyotes, Arizona Cardinals and Phoenix Suns. The experience is built around a black, custom-wrapped FJ Cruiser equipped with a t-shirt cannon and a customizable photo booth with the ability for visitors to snap pictures alongside realistic slides of their favorite Arizona sports stars. Guests of the experience are given the ability to win limited edition prizes at the events and need only provide an email address and phone number to receive their own emailed commemorative photo and a special phone call from their favorite team star thanking them for stopping by the DS Live Ultimate Pre-Game Experience following the game.

“The goal for DS Live is simple,” said Cathy Graham, Vice President of Marketing for Desert Schools. “We want to be the only community rally that provides entertainment seekers the opportunity to pre-game with engaging content, exclusive prizes and the ability to capture the moment in a unique way. We are focused on creating the absolute best experiences possible both inside our branches and out in the community.”

Desert Schools’ partnerships with the Valley’s premiere sports organizations stem from each having a proven track record of commitment and unwavering dedication to enhancing the local community around them. Arizona Cardinals star wide receiver, Larry Fitzgerald, recently extended his six-year relationship with the credit union, beginning the season with an ad campaign aimed at highlighting the organization’s commitment to the community and its members.
