Designation of Savings Excellence winner announced

DOVER, DE (June 1, 2016) — The Consumer Federation of America and Credit Union Leaders are recognizing Credit Unions that do exceptional work to promote savings among their members and communities. For years, many financial institutions have dedicated a week in February to participate in America Saves Week, which includes special offerings on products and services that promote savings. America Saves Week is a great reminder to consumers across our country that there is value in developing a financial plan, and saving money to help achieve goals. For their efforts to help promote savings among their members, Delaware’s largest credit union, Dover Federal Credit Union, received the America Saves Designation of Savings Excellence award from the Consumer Federation of America’s America Saves Campaign. The designation that Dover Federal Credit Union received exemplifies their commitment to make a positive difference in a members’ financial life, by encouraging and supporting good deposit products that maximize savings.
