LIVONIA, MICH (June 23, 2023) — This week, Zeal Credit Union held an official grand opening and ribbon-cutting for the organization’s newly relocated Midtown-Detroit branch (located at 4501 Woodward Ave. Detroit 48201, within suite 101a of S. University Village, adjacent to historical building, The Whitney).
In attendance to kick off Zeal’s Detroit branch grand opening were Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan – who spoke during the event’s official ceremony – the Detroit Regional Chamber, the Zeal Board of Directors, Zeal President & CEO Julie Kreinbring, Zeal Detroit Branch Manager Linda Cook, Zeal Chief Experience Officer Coretta Wallace, and the Michigan Credit Union League.
“We are very excited to be here in Midtown, Detroit to serve our members and our community,” said Zeal Chief Experience Officer, Coretta Wallace. “Over the last several years, Zeal and our Detroit branch team have built remarkable relationships with our members here in Detroit, and we’re grateful that everyone can now enjoy this warm, inviting, and convenient location for all of their banking needs.”

Zeal Credit Union’s Detroit branch grand opening week will run through Friday, June 23. Members and future members are welcome to visit the branch for refreshments and giveaways, including a prize drawing where one lucky winner will win a $250 Meijer gift card.
