Diamond Lakes Federal Credit Union announces selection of new director of lending
PLANO, TX (June 27, 2017) — Jon Trotter has been named as Diamond Lakes Federal Credit Union’s new director of lending, effective Monday, July 17, 2017. The executive search was conducted by Credit Union Resources for the $70 million dollar credit union with offices in Malvern and Hot Springs, Ark.
Previously the vice president of mortgage lending at Fidelity Bank and Trust, Trotter was responsible for the supervision of loan underwriters, loan operations, and new hires for the Dubuque market. During his time at the credit union, he implemented procedural improvements and automated underwriting tools to help streamline mortgage operations at the credit union.
Prior to working at Fidelity Bank and Trust, Trotter was the branch manager at Regions Bank in Monticello, Iowa. Trotter was responsible for the daily operations and compliance standards for the Monticello branch. He was also responsible for outside sales efforts and generating new business for the lending department.
With more than 32 years of lending and operations experience within the financial services industry, Trotter will help Diamond Lakes FCU continue its mission to encourage saving and provide reasonably priced financial products and personal member services while maintaining financial stability.
Trotter received a B.S. in economics and business from University of Wisconsin-Platteville, in Platteville, Wis.
