GRAND BLANC, MI (August 28, 2017) — Dort Federal Credit Union held its 13th Annual Member Appreciation Movie Day on Monday, August 7th, 2017. A record breaking 43,000 movie passes were distributed to members and their guests attending this year’s event. In addition to movie passes, Dort Federal employees also distributed coupons for $2 off a concession combo at NCG cinemas and Flint Firebirds ticket vouchers. Some of the best players from the Flint Firebirds attended the event, along with their mascot, Hot Wing, while CARS 108 radio personalities Pat & AJ did a live broadcast from NCG Trillium in Grand Blanc.
Since 2005, Dort Federal has been offering their members an annual free movie day at local movie theatres. Members can receive up to four free movie tickets each, one for themselves and up to three guests. Members simply needed to show proof of membership via their Dort Federal membership card, ATM card, Debit card, Visa Platinum credit card, or monthly statement. Some films attended by members this year included Spider-Man: Homecoming, Dunkirk, and The Emoji Movie.
