Dort Federal Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of its newest branch, located in Owosso, serving the residents of Shiawassee County. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. The event was held from 12:00-6:00 pm at the Owosso location, at 1006 E. Main Street, it’s first branch in Shiawassee County. On hand for the event were members of the Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce, local businesses and residents, and representatives from the Michigan Credit Union League. Members of the Dort Federal Credit Union board of directors, executive staff and other team members were also in attendance to celebrate this important event.
“Personalized service and advanced banking technology will make it easier for Dort Federal members to complete transactions, grow wealth and meet their financial goals,” said CEO Vicki Hawkins. “We are very grateful to have had the opportunity to meet so many of our long-time members and new members today. So many people were excited for the opening of this location and it’s an amazing feeling to be welcomed by the Owosso community.”
