Doug Ferraro, Allan McMorris And Jeff Napper elected To Co-Op Board Of Directors

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (May 3, 2010) – Doug Ferraro, Allan McMorris and Jeff Napper have been elected to the Board of Directors of CO-OP Financial Services, the nation’s largest credit union service organization and the industry leader in innovative access and convenience products for credit unions. 

The three new board members were elected at the annual meeting of CO-OP shareholders, held on April 19 in Scottsdale, Ariz. Two incumbents were also reelected to new three-year terms, including John Radebaugh, President/CEO, of the North Carolina Credit Union League, and Doug Allman, President/CEO, NASA FCU, who was also elected Chairman of the Board of Directors.

“It is an honor so serve as Chairman of CO-OP and have the opportunity to work with such an outstanding board to address the issues facing credit unions today and in the future,” said Allman. “We are happy to have Doug Ferraro, Allan McMorris and Jeff Napper join us in our task of taking CO-OP’s industry service to the next level by making sure CO-OP stays focused on its mission of providing the tools, counsel and leadership to help credit unions and their members prosper.”

Ferraro has served as President/CEO of $1.9 billion Bellco Credit Union, Denver, Colo., for more than 18 years. Prior to joining Bellco, Ferraro was Senior Vice President, CFO of Vystar Credit Union in Jacksonville, Florida. He has been a licensed CPA since 1983.

McMorris is President/CEO of Oakland County Credit Union, Waterford, Mich., a post he has held for more than 20 years. He is currently Chairman of the National Credit Union Foundation and a former Chairman of the Board for CUNA & Affiliates.

Napper was appointed President/CEO of LBS Financial Credit Union, Long Beach, Calif., in 2002. During his 32-year tenure with LBS Financial, Napper held a number of administrative, operational and management positions until 1994 when he became Executive Vice President.

With a total of five members elected and four members retiring, the Board of Directors of CO-OP totals 11 members.
