Dover Federal employees raised funds and support the organization
DOVER, DE (July 6, 2017) — As part of Dover Federal Credit Union’s initiative to give back to the community it serves, they recently presented a check for $1470.00 to Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Delaware. Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Delaware, is one of the oldest and largest youth mentoring organizations in the United States. They are a non-profit organization whose goal is to help all children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with volunteer mentors.
Dover Federal employees raised funds and support the organization, by participating in “Jeans Friday”, an initiative where employees pay to wear jeans on Friday and have their donation matched by their employer. In addition to raising funds, team members also have the opportunity to learn and participate in the mentorship program and volunteer.
