Dover Federal Human Resources Vice President Heather Shupe Earns Prestigious Certification
Dover, Delaware – June 11, 2012 – Dover Federal Credit Union is proud to announce that Heather Shupe, Vice President of Human Resources for the Credit Union, recently completed the requirements of the Credit Union Executives Society’s CEO Institute program. As a graduate of the program, Ms. Shupe has earned the coveted designation of Certified Chief Executive (CCE).
The Credit Union Executives Society is an international membership association for executives, directors, and future leaders in the credit union field. The Society’s CEO Institute program consists of a three-part course, in partnership with three of the world’s top business schools, which educates promising credit union executives in the areas of Strategic Planning, Organizational Effectiveness, and Strategic Leadership Development. The CCE title, which is awarded upon completion of the program, has been earned by only 451 people, internationally. All of the three awardees who reside in the state of Delaware are employees of Dover Federal Credit Union.
Ms. Shupe, who has been in the field of human resources for over ten years, has held the position of Human Resources Vice President with Dover Federal since January of 2009. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. “I am very proud to have successfully completed the requirements of the CEO Institute,” Ms. Shupe said, “and to have earned the title of Certified Chief Executive. I look forward to using my new skills and knowledge to serve the employees and members of Dover Federal, Delaware’s finest Credit Union!”
