The Dreamers Elevated Scholarship Fund has been established through the Local Change Foundation* with support and a matching gift from Elevations Credit Union. This fund will support post-secondary education for Dreamer Scholars from the "I Have A Dream" Foundation of Boulder County, reflecting a shared commitment to supporting local students.
"I Have A Dream" Foundation of Boulder County helps students successfully navigate school, college, and career by providing a holistic academic, social, and emotional support program from elementary school through college in addition to postsecondary scholarship assistance.
Every dollar donated — up to $50,000 — through December 31 will be matched by Elevations. All contributions go directly to the scholarship fund; Local Change retains no portion for administrative expenses.
“This scholarship is a powerful example of what we can accomplish together,” said Jennifer Hinderliter, executive director of the Local Change Foundation. “We’re helping Dreamer Scholars take the next step in their educational journey and empowering them to change the world.”
One $2,000 scholarship will be awarded annually with potential to grow as funding increases. This initiative is separate from the Dreamer Scholar Sponsor program and does not qualify for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit.
