East Idaho Credit Union Selects New President/Chief Executive Officer

Idaho Falls, Idaho  (July 20, 2012) – East Idaho Credit Union’s Board of Directors would like to announce the selection of Brad Bauges as the organization’s new President/Chief Executive Officer.

“We are excited to have Brad joining the credit union, and we welcome him into our family” said Chairman of the Board, LaNea Holt. “With his enthusiasm and energy, as well as his dedication to member service, Brad will be a strong leader as the credit union continues to grow and reach out to more members within the communities we serve.”   

Bauges holds a BS in Business Management from Oregon Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He also is a graduate of the Credit Union Executive Society’s CEO Institute. He brings over 12 years of experience in the financial services industry, eight of which he spent in senior management positions. Most recently, Bauges served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer at Columbia Credit Union, based in Vancouver, Washington. While there he oversaw many different facets of the $850 million organization, including their many branches, call center, and employee training. Prior, he held the position of Vice President of Branch Services for TDECU, where he helped to significantly increase their membership base and product offerings.

“I am honored to be joining such a strong and longstanding organization. This is an amazing opportunity to become part of a great team and community and I am eager to get started,” said Bauges, when asked about his new position.

Bauges will begin his position on July 19, 2012.
