Educators Credit Union launches new website in partnership with PixelSpoke
PORTLAND, OR (August 23, 2021) — Educators Credit Union and PixelSpoke are excited to announce the launch of Educators’ new website.
Educators Credit Union was founded by teachers in 1937 in Racine, Wisconsin. Today, Educators members are students, government workers, healthcare employees, small business owners and many other community members.
PixelSpoke is a Portland-based marketing agency and worker-owned cooperative that specializes in web redesigns for credit unions. PixelSpoke first redesigned Educators’ website in 2015 and has worked on an ongoing basis with the credit union as a digital marketing partner for the past six years.
From the outset of the project, PixelSpoke and Educators identified three primary goals for the website redesign: 1) Update the look and feel to reflect current branding, 2) Enhance the digital experience for members, and 3) Better tailor the website to its intended audiences.
The new website reflects Educators’ bolder and more varied color palette, and its content, images, and graphics exude an energy and warmth that help communicate the credit union’s core themes of belonging and empowerment. Plus, added layout options help to make the content more accessible.
Educators Credit Union offers a robust suite of digital tools, and the new website aims to not only communicate what these tools are and how members will benefit, but also to unite them under one “roof” so that they are easy to find and use. Such tools include an AI-powered Virtual Financial Coach, video banking services, texting capabilities to communicate with lending specialists, and a full-feature mobile app.
The digital experience is particularly important for the credit union’s growing number of technologically savvy members. With dedicated resource pages for teachers, students, and community members, Educators also reinforces its commitment to knowledge and service, as well as its educational roots. Additionally, the entire site is available in Spanish to improve Educators’ ability to serve its Spanish-speaking member base.
The website is built using flexible WordPress templates that empower the Educators’ marketing team to update rates, product pages, photos, community news, and other information as needed. Moving forward, Educators and PixelSpoke look forward to continuing their partnership to further evolve the website and better support the financial well-being of Educators members.
