ESCU has opened a new branch location at 270 Indian Lake Boulevard in Hendersonville, Tennessee. The credit union, founded by employees of Nashville Electric Service in 1951, now accepts membership from anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Sumner and Davidson Counties of Tennessee.
Electric Service Credit Union’s CEO, Ron Smith, is proud of ESCU’s new flagship branch. “Hendersonville is a growing city, and the Indian Lake area is the perfect location for a new credit union branch. We designed the new branch with plenty of green space, with a walking path that is adjacent to Hendersonville’s greenways, park and library.”
ESCU has recently added the Sumner County area to its field of membership. The county, located northeast of Nashville is growing quickly, attracting new business like Sam’s Club and the Streets of Indian Lake shopping complex. Says Smith, “We have found that locating our branches in areas of new retail growth is a good move for us. Being located on a corner with neighbors like Sam’s Club and McDonald’s will attract families, and we hope to convert some of that traffic into business for the credit union.”
ESCU now operates three branches in Middle Tennessee. For more information about ESCU, visit www.escu.com
