Elevations Credit Union adds local business leaders to Board of Directors
BOULDER, CO (November 9, 2015) — Elevations Credit Union appointed Kate Brown and Dr. Natalie Baumgartner to its Board of Directors in October, expanding its Board of Directors from 9 to 11. “These two outstanding local business leaders bring diverse perspectives and experience to our Board of Directors,” said Katie Larson, Elevations’ Board Chair. “We look forward to collaborating with them to serve the membership of Elevations.”Elevations President and CEO Gerry Agnes added, “Both Kate and Natalie are passionate professionals and community leaders. We know they’ll serve as phenomenal resources for Elevations, and we couldn’t be more thankful that they’re joining our Board.”
Kate Brown is the Founder and President of Boulder Organic Foods, LLC, and has been developing the brand Boulder Organics! since 2006. Boulder Organics! is a national brand of organic, fresh soup products nationally distributed through natural and conventional grocers. Brown is a member and sponsor of Naturally Boulder, a local professional organization targeting natural products and services. In 2012, Boulder Organics! received Naturally Boulder’s award for Best Young Company of the Year, in recognition of significant growth and innovative business practices. Brown is also a member of the CU Leeds School of Business Women’s Council. A Colorado native, Brown lives and works in Boulder, enjoying the community of natural product entrepreneurs. Her passions include travel, hiking, snow sports, cooking, running and family.
Dr. Natalie Baumgartner is the Founder and Chief Psychologist at RoundPegg, a culture and engagement software platform based on culture science that provides companies with data-driven culture insights and customized tactics to hire, develop and engage employees. Baumgartner is passionate about the power that company culture has to revolutionize how we work, and she’s consulted on corporate culture with investors, senior executives and boards of directors for the last 10 years. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and serves on the board of the Consulting Psychology Division of the American Psychological Association. She is a popular speaker on culture, engagement, mergers/acquisitions and change management – and a TEDx speaker on Culture Fit. Baumgartner and her family reside in Boulder.
