Elevations Credit Union’s Scott Herrmann receives volunteer award from Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain, Inc.

BOULDER, CO (August 5, 2019) — Elevations Credit Union announces that Scott Herrmann, CFP®, a CFS* Financial Advisor at Elevations Wealth Management, has been honored for his volunteer efforts with Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain, Inc. (JA). Herrmann, who is based at the Elevations Boulder Diagonal Branch, was recognized for his status as a volunteer who has had an impact on 500 students who participate in the JA program.

Herrmann volunteers at JA as part of Elevations’ RealityCheck for Youth initiative, which has a goal to make a difference in the lives of young people in our local communities. Through this initiative, Elevations is ranked the No. 1 provider of youth financial literacy in Colorado, according to the National Youth Involvement Board. A key part of RealityCheck for Youth is Elevations’ partnership with JA Finance Park, and the credit union ranks in the top five Colorado companies providing volunteers, like Herrmann, for JA.

Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain, Inc. is part of the world’s largest organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. Through a dedicated volunteer network, JA provides programs for students which focus on entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness. JA’s goal is to teach concepts through experiential learning, allowing young people to put their new knowledge and skills into practice.
