Warminster, PA (September 14, 2012) – This past Wednesday, employees at Freedom Credit Union paid $5 each to “dress down” for Miracle Jeans Day, an annual fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®, a charity that raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals.   When all of the money was collected, $500 was raised in total donations from Freedom employees in support of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

In the spirit of the credit union movement motto “People Helping People,” Freedom employees were encouraged to participate even if they knew they were going to be out of the office on Miracle Jeans Day. Freedom Credit Union frequently holds fundraisers for the community in which they serve.Freedom also sponsors community events that offer opportunities to interact with Members and potential Members. For more information on upcoming fundraisers and events, the Freedom website and social media channels are updated frequently with event dates and details.
