Employees’ individuality at the forefront of LSI’s rebrand
ELGIN, IL (May 30, 2017) — Lending Solutions, Inc. has undergone a complete overhaul, officially rebranding itself to LSI. The building blocks of the rebrand focus on people, passion and hope.
LSI was the first of their kind to market and has remained the industry leader since their inception in 1994. They are an #AlwaysLive financial services partner that helps credit unions and banks provide remarkable service around the clock for their members and clients.
Despite LSI’s incredible success, the brand hasn’t seen a new look since a gallon of gas cost $1.00 and The Lion King and Forrest Gump were at the top of the box office.
Fast forward 23 years, and the company is now officially LSI.
At first glance, LSI’s new website is fresh with a clean and simple circular logo. However, there is more to it. The logo is always changing. It does not have a specified size or color; each employee is free to fill the circle with their own personalized passions and dreams.
The diversity and creativity of the highly personal logo is charmingly reflected by the variety of designs which LSI’s employees have created. From pets, beaches and wedding photos, to a beautiful custom logo from LSI’s CIC Operations Supervisor Candice Barnard, with the ultrasound image of her daughter named Skylar Grace at the heart of it.
“As an employee owned company, nothing could reflect who we are better than our employees being at the heart of our new logo,” shared Mark Johnson, majority owner and co-founder of LSI.
The official launch of the new brand was on a warm and sunny Friday, May 5th, which also happened to be Cinco De Mayo. So, the Celebration Fiesta featured taco trucks from El Patron, blue raspberry slushies, cupcakes, music, piñatas, sombreros, and more.
Employees are constantly helping each other to build skills and provide remarkable service to clients, which increases everyone’s opportunities within the organization. LSI sends electronic surveys out to the entire company asking for their input on a wide variety of topics ranging from corporate values to which food trucks and slushy flavors to roll in for their Cinco De Mayo Brand Celebration Fiesta.
LSI is part of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, or ESOP; the employees own 30% of the company. The implementation of the ESOP has included many efforts to include all employees in decision making. “Everyone at LSI knows that to be successful as a company, we must be successful as individuals,” said Mark Johnson.
