Empower Federal Credit Union announces another ‘giveback’ to our members for 2020. This year, the credit union is paying $4 million in ‘giveback’ bonus dividends and interest rebates to reward Empower members.
Lori Verzillo, Senior Vice President/ Chief Retail Officer, “During these unprecedented times, we are pleased to announce the Board of Directors approved a $4,000,000 member giveback! Over the past 13 years, Empower FCU has given back $39,500,000 to our member-owners. We thank our many members who take advantage of the products and services we offer; and for all your patience and perseverance during these difficult times.” The amount each member receives represents a percentage on savings account dividends earned and a rebate on loan interest paid throughout the year.
Members bonus dividends and interest rebates were posted on December 31, 2020.
