Endurance FCU Donut Drop

DUNCAN, OK (May 8, 2024) — Endurance Federal Credit Union in Duncan, OK supports its teachers in the communities it serves, especially during state testing week!

This year, they purchased 144 dozen donuts to give to 1,476 teachers and support staff at 39 schools.

Chris Bower, President and CEO, said this is the second year they have done the donut drops and the teachers always show their appreciation. “When our Marketing Department had this idea and ran with it last year, the appreciation from the teachers was great. Many of them commented on our social media pages thanking us for thinking about them during state testing week.”

“Being able to take the donuts to the schools and talk to the teachers is a humbling experience,” said Whitney Peck, Business Development Manager. “State testing is a stressful time that they have prepared for all year. We just want to show our appreciation to them in preparing our kiddos for this year. They do so much more than just teach. They truly live out the credit union motto of ‘people helping people.’”

“We take pride in being able to give back to our communities,” said Bower. “We thank the administration, teachers and staff for all they do.”
