Endurance Federal Credit Union of Ducan, Oklahoma announced the recent promotions of Cade Simmons to Vice President of Operations, Shanna Mendez to Regional Operations Manager, and Rebecca McKay to Duncan Branch Supervisor.
Simmons, who joined Endurance FCU in 2023, started out in the financial industry in 2002 as a part-time MSR and has worked his way to being promoted most recently to Vice President of Operations. When asked what is an accomplishment that he is proud of Simmons said, “I am proud of my contribution to the opening of our newest branch in Weatherford, and improvements to new membership audit efficiencies.” Simmons is very involved in the community by being the Treasurer/Assistant Scout Master for BSA Troop 4434, member of the Children’s Ministry Team at the Duncan Christian Center, and volunteering for events as a representative of Endurance FCU. “I’m honored to start this next chapter with the members and team at Endurance FCU. I look forward to empowering our members and credit union team through a commitment to our mission statement,” stated Simmons about the future.
Mendez, who joined Endurance FCU in 2024 as the Elk City Branch Manager, has been in the financial industry for 20 years. When asked about her proudest moment so far at the credit union she stated, “Being able to help with the development of Endurance FCU’s newest branch and having the opportunity to be involved in the surrounding community’s events along with meeting so many new people.” Mendez community involvement includes chambers and school events along with galas and banquets as an Endurance FCU representative. “Opportunities don’t happen you create them,” stated Mendez when asked how she plans to use her new position to further the footprint of the credit union.
McKay, who joined Endurance FCU in 2020 as an MSR, has been promoted to Duncan Branch Supervisor. When asked what she is proud of she stated, “I am proud that I have been able to move up to a management position from starting as an entry level MSR.” McKay is very active in the community and volunteers for Beautiful Day along with a variety of other events as a representative of Endurance FCU. When asked what advice she can give to others she said,” Hard work and dedication pays off so keep looking for opportunities to showcase your talents.”
