Almost everything but the test drive available at new consumer-friendly sites

April 4, 2012, St. Louis – Credit unions seeking to use technology to increase auto loan volume and members looking for great quality used cars both can take advantage of the robust offering of innovative tools, features and videos available on co-branded websites developed in partnership with Enterprise Car Sales.

The co-branded sites are hosted on the new Enterprise Car Sales website, developed by Enterprise in cooperation with Jazel Automotive Solutions. Among the unique features of the new Enterprise site is the ability for credit unions to promote current local auto loan rates and incentive offers exclusively to their own members. In turn, members can estimate monthly payments on specific vehicles based on the credit union’s specific terms and conditions and even apply for a loan while shopping online. Those functions can help to increase loan volume by driving additional traffic to the credit unions’ own websites, and their ease of use can enhance member relations.

For credit unions, a key benefit of co-branding is the ability to build customer trust. According to Paula Anderson, Vice President, Marketing and Retail Sales Support for Anheuser-Busch Employees’ Credit Union (http://www.enterprisecarsales.com/abecu) and its American Eagle Credit Union division (http://www.enterprisecarsales.com/aefcu), “Our partnership with Enterprise is a great fit with our products, values and image, and a great benefit to our members. Having our logo appear alongside the Enterprise Car Sales logo reassures our members they are visiting the site of a trusted partner and gives them peace of mind, knowing that Enterprise has our stamp of approval.”

Marianne Chanda, Director of Business Development for Enterprise Car Sales, noted that credit unions have a major stake in their members’ automobile purchases. Consequently, the updated Enterprise website will help them as well as their members. “Members will have access from one page to thousands of available vehicles, and credit unions will be able to direct local offers and incentives to local members,” Chanda said. She added that, as always, Enterprise will recommend that a member referred by his credit union obtain an auto loan from that credit union 100 percent of the time.

Besides easier navigation on the co-branded sites, members will enjoy added convenience and search options, including the ability to prioritize their search of thousands of available vehicles by body style, price range, estimated monthly payment, and fuel efficiency, as well as a variety of ways to compare vehicles. In addition, videos will offer advice and tips from experts on buying and selling a used car.

Additional innovative functions are scheduled to be added in the near future, including a new “quick look” feature that will make it faster and easier to view available vehicles in specific categories.

Enterprise Car Sales, which specializes in working with credit unions of all sizes to increase auto loan volume, selected Jazel Automotive Solutions for the comprehensive redesign of its website. According to Enterprise, Jazel’s scalable, best-of-breed technology has made it a market leader in building auto dealer websites and optimizing those sites for search engines.

“Jazel is pleased to have been selected as a partner and exclusive provider for Enterprise Car Sales’ corporate and credit union websites,” said Steve Hastert, Partner and CFO of Jazel. “The websites will combine a sophisticated architecture and powerful search features with an intuitive, member-centric interface to provide the best used car buying experience from start to finish.”

Highly respected for its unique “no-haggle” pricing, which eliminates the negotiating aspect of car buying, Enterprise ensures every vehicle undergoes a 109-point inspection by an ASE-certified technician and is backed by a seven-day repurchase policy if the member changes his or her mind about the purchase.
