Envision Credit Union celebrates 70 years of community commitment with a special gift for educators: 70 cruises

TALLAHASSEE, FL (February 27, 2024)Envision Credit Union, originally founded in 1954 by a group of teachers,  stands as a pillar of financial stability serving the North Florida and South Georgia regions. The  credit union is thrilled to announce 70 years of unwavering commitment to the community with a  giveback that will help educators cruise through 2024. Envision Credit Union will present 70  deserving teachers within its service areas with a five-day, four-night cruise for two. This  initiative is a special way to honor both past and present educators, recognizing their vital  contributions to the credit union’s founding and continued success.

Community members are encouraged to participate in this celebration of educators by visiting  www.Envision70.com and nominating teachers who have demonstrated exceptional  commitment to their students and the community. Nominations for these cruise packages will be  open through March 31, 2024.

“We are incredibly proud to celebrate 70 years of community commitment, and what better way  to mark this milestone than by expressing our gratitude to the dedicated educators who play an  instrumental role in shaping the future leaders of our community,” said Darryl Worrell, President  and CEO at Envision Credit Union. “These 70 cruises that we are gifting to educators are a  small token of our appreciation for the hard work and dedication demonstrated by teachers  every day.”

The selection process will incorporate both community support and the expertise of a dedicated  selection committee from Envision Credit Union. Envision Credit Union will employ a  comprehensive rubric as part of the selection process to evaluate nominees. The assessment  will be based on the following criteria:

  1. Level of Impact in the Community:
