Evansville Teachers FCU will open in Fort Branch on April 23

EVANSVILLE, IN (April 23, 2018) — Evansville Teachers Federal Credit Union will open its Fort Branch, Indiana, location for business on Monday, April 23.

The office, located at 811 E. Mulberry Street, just off U.S. 41 South, includes four teller stations along with space for lending operations. There will be six employees to start.

Hours will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. MondayThursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays, and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. Drive-through services will open at 8:30 a.m. each day for members’ convenience. The ATM operates 24 hours / 7 days per week.

The new location will allow ETFCU to better serve its 1,082 members who reside in Fort Branch, a portion of the 8,062 members who reside in Gibson County. There also is a branch at 3020 Dixon Street in Princeton, which this summer will be replaced by a new building just across the street from the current location.

Tim Wood has been promoted to branch manager for Fort Branch. Wood formerly was assistant manager at ETFCU’s Princeton office.

During a grand opening week from May 14-19 there will be giveaways, drawings for major prizes, and information provided about all of ETFCU’s products and services.

ETFCU also has branches in northern Vanderburgh County at 12225 North U.S. 41 and in Knox County at 1395 South Hart Street Road in Vincennes. In total, the Fort Branch opening will give ETFCU 14 branches in southern Indiana and western Kentucky, with plans to add offices in Washington (Indiana), Bowling Green (Kentucky) and Franklin (Tennessee) in coming months.

Fort Branch will offer the popular Vertical and Platinum checking accounts. The Vertical account pays 3 percent APY interest up to $20,000 in deposits, while the Platinum is a rewards program with percentages spent refunded to customers. Between the two, and including refunds of ATM fees charged by other financial institutions, ETFCU paid out more than $2.3 million to members in 2017.
