For the tenth year in a row, New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU) loan officer Evelyn Rivera led the credit union’s annual Turkey Drive. A total of 100 turkeys were delivered to the Williston Community Food Shelf (WCFS), along with $1500, thirty-five $15 gift cards from Hannaford’s Supermarket, and a check for $400 to help with other needs. Jason Pidgeon and the credit union’s mortgage origination staff assisted in the effort. Arnie Laberge graciously provided freezer storage.
“The Williston Community Food Shelf is very grateful to partner with New England Federal Credit Union on our annual turkey day,” said WCFS President Ginger Morton. “If it were not for the generosity of the credit union and its employees, our turkey day would not be a success. The Williston Community Food Shelf is honored to have New England Federal Credit Union as a partner.”
