Evergreen Credit Union appoints Jason Lindstrom as President/CEO
PORTLAND, ME (December 1, 2016) — Evergreen Credit Union named Jason Lindstrom as new President and CEO. Lindstrom recently served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Belvoir Federal Credit Union in Virginia, prior to their merger earlier this year with Pentagon Federal Credit Union, where he was a director.
Lindstrom’s credit union career includes positions in lending, development, operations, marketing and governmental affairs with notable credit unions on the west and east coasts. His credit union experience began in California, where he worked with Nuvision Federal Credit Union, Orange County’s Credit Union and Schools First Federal Credit Union, before moving to Belvoir Federal Credit Union in 2010.
Lindstrom is a passionate innovator, leading teams to develop new products through Filene Research Institute’s I3 program. He attended Western CUNA Management School and is a certified Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) and mentor. During his tenure at Belvoir, the credit union achieved and maintained a 90+ Net Promoter Score and had high member usage rates. His implementation of their mobile banking platform saw more than 60% of Belvoir members use the platform within 3 years.
He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing and Business Development Council. “Throughout my career, I have maintained a passion for credit unions and the “people helping people” credit union philosophy. I plan to help take Evergreen to the next level and continue to build upon their success.” said Lindstrom.
