Evergreen Credit Union has hired Serena Carr as AVP, Branch Manager at its South Portland location on Broadway.
Carr brings 12 years of banking experience from multiple financial institutions, where she worked in frontline and operations leadership roles. “This background has shaped who I am professionally by giving me a strong foundation and adaptability in the member-focused mindset that I bring to my current role every day,” said Carr.
Since starting in late February, Carr has been focused on getting up to speed on Evergreen’s member service approach while becoming familiar with her team and the South Portland community.
When it comes to Evergreen’s fast-growing team, leadership looks for hardworking, community-driven individuals like Carr. “It’s important that we have people working at Evergreen who love what they do,” said Jason Lindstrom, Evergreen’s President/CEO. “We look for leaders, like Serena, who are ready to positively impact their teams.”
