TREVOSE, Pa. — Executive Leaders Radio program host Dean Schwartz interviewed
TruMark Financial® Credit Union’s chief financial officer, Vince Market, on Friday, April 8, along with other business leaders from the Philadelphia area. Executive Leaders Radio Program, which airs three times a week reaching listeners in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland on WIFI/1460AM, WCHE/1520AM, and WSNJ/1240AM, focuses on the human side of top executives.

The radio program is an opportunity for presidents and chief financial officers of companies to share the lessons learned, challenges faced, and the sacrifices made for their careers. The interview is scheduled to air on Friday, April 15 on WIFI/1460 AM at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 17th on WCHE/1520AM at 3 p.m., and Monday, April 18th on WSNJ/1240AM at 1:00 p.m.

Schwartz was interested to learn how Market got started in the financial industry, his upbringing and how it relates to what he does today, what he enjoys most about working at the credit union, and what changes he has witnessed in the industry. Market’s career in financial institutions spans more than two decades. Starting as a teller in 1985, he learned the importance of the front-line branch staff and branch operations. In 1987, he began working at TruMark Financial as a branch manager and in 1989 was promoted to chief financial officer. As the chief financial officer, Market monitors and reports the effects of interest rates, asset quality, and regulatory issues in the credit union. Working behind the scenes, Market said he often misses the interaction with the members.
