HOUSTON, TX (January 29, 2026) |
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is pleased to announce that, after three years of success, it will continue its partnership with First Community to deliver an inviting and exciting Carnival experience to millions of guests. First Community is a Texas-based credit union dedicated to providing personalized financial services and community-focused support to members across the Greater Houston area and beyond.
“The Carnival is one of the most attended parts of our event, with millions of rides, prizes and more,” said Chris Boleman, president and CEO of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. “Partnering with a Houston-based company that understands our community and our family-friendly entertainment ensures the Carnival experience will continue to be one everyone looks forward to.”
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Carnival spans more than 24 acres of all-encompassing, action-packed fun. Guests can enjoy thrilling rides, classic carnival games, delicious food, exciting prizes, and a 360-degree view of the event. In 2025, more than 2.8 million rides were taken at the Carnival, with fan-favorite foods including turkey legs, jumbo corn dogs, deep-fried Oreos and more.
Carnival admission is included with the purchase of a grounds ticket or a rodeo/concert ticket. Grounds ticket sales end at 9 p.m. each day. In addition to the Carnival, grounds tickets allow visitors access to NRG Arena and NRG Center. A rodeo/concert ticket provides access to the same areas as a grounds ticket, plus NRG Stadium for the rodeo and concert performance. More information about tickets can be found here.
“First Community is proud to continue our partnership with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo as the official sponsor of the Rodeo Carnival,” said TJ Tijerina, CEO of First Community. “Our shared passion for the Houston community and education makes this partnership truly meaningful. Each year, the Rodeo’s impact grows, enriching lives and creating lasting memories for families. The carnival is where those memories are made, and we are honored to support that experience while continuing to give back to the community.”
