Financial Center First CU launches new online learning platform

Financial Center First Credit Union has officially launched its new online financial education platform, Wealth Builder Online, in partnership with Banzai. As a result of expanding its program, Financial Center is now offering online courses for all ages, including Banzai Junior (8-12), Banzai Teen (13-18), and Banzai Adult (Plus).

An additional expansion of the program is the introduction of “Banzai Coaches,” providing judgement-free virtual advice on a number of financial topics, with each session lasting between 5 and 15 minutes. Users can also work on their budgeting skills with over 30 calculators in the financial education library.

The relaunch of Wealth Builder Online is a key project within Financial Center’s financial education strategy, with the credit union’s educational program reaching over 1450 people in the past year alone.

“Our belief as a credit union is that a stable financial life is a necessity - and should be free for all. Our new program is not only engaging, but it makes free financial education more accessible.” states James Davidson, AVP of Financial Literacy at Financial Center. “We’re going to continue to provide cutting-edge education to all of our members, partners, and those in need.”

Financial Center is a seven-time national award winner in the Desjardins Adult Financial Literacy Award through the Credit Union National Association.

The new Wealth Builder Online program can be found on Financial Center’s website at https://www.fcfcu.com/financial-education.
