Financial Resources Federal Credit Union sponsors children for the holidays and supports CASA SHaW

Bridgewater, NJ – For the third consecutive holiday season, Financial Resources Federal Credit Union supported CASA SHaW (Court Appointed Special Advocates of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties) http://www.casashaw.org/ in their efforts to help 47 local children who rely on the charity of others to have a gift to open during the holiday season. Many of these children have been separated from their families. 

CASA SHaW is an agency which provides community volunteers to act as advocates in court for children who have been abused or neglected and are in the foster care system. 

Each child submitted a holiday wish list to Financial Resources employees and members of the credit union’s Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee, who then enjoyed shopping and wrapping the gifts for the children. Some sponsored as many as three children.  CASA SHaW was also the beneficiary of Financial Resources Foundation’s main charity event in the spring of 2007.
