RALEIGH, NC (January 24, 2014) -- Sageworks, a financial information company, announced today the appointment of Jack Gregory to its Board of Directors.
Since the early 1980's, Mr. Gregory has successfully delivered technology-based solutions to the global banking market. Many of the leading credit solutions actively deployed throughout today’s global banks use or leverage technology, expertise and services from businesses Gregory has led.
"Jack brings to the Board 35 years of experience in the banking market, and a deep knowledge on the growing regulatory requirements for banks. We’re excited to have his involvement with Sageworks as we further expand our solutions for financial institutions,” stated Scott Ogle, chief executive officer of Sageworks.
From 1983 through 2000, Gregory served as a principal for Crowe Horwath, leading the development of the innovative FAMAS technology for financial analysis spreading, which became the global standard for financial institutions. In 2000, Gregory continued his career with Moody’s after his group was purchased by the company. While there, his team led the development of predictive default models and solutions for active portfolio management.
Mr. Gregory returned to his roots with Crowe in 2011. He currently serves as an executive with Crowe’s Performance Consulting team, specializing in creating services and product solutions that support capital planning, stress testing and credit portfolio management for banks and financial institutions.
Gregory holds a bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University. He currently serves as the chair of the Board of Directors for Family & Children Center, Inc. and on the Board of Directors of GoInformatics, Inc.
