Firemen’s Federal awards $11,000 in scholarships

NEW ORLEANS, LA (July 5, 2023) — New Orleans Firemen’s Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the 11 recipients of the Donald T. Bock Scholarship Program.

Firemen’s Federal selected 11 members to receive a $1,000 scholarship to apply to their college expenses. The applicants were required to submit their ACT/SAT scores, high school standing, and answer a series of essay questions. Firemen’s Federal selects one member from each branch, plus one employee family member. Isabella Rodriguez, Andrew Heck, Briannna Barousse, Havyn Louque, Jayden Rogers (his mom stood in for him) Katarina Kern, Mary Napoleon, Mia Signorelli, Taylor Williams, not pictured are Ellen Gaudin and Grace Green were named the 2023 scholarship recipients.
