First Capital Federal Credit Union is proud to announce Olivia Leiphart, Kyla Myers, Om Jethwa, and Madison Redding are the winners of the 2025 Dennis Flickinger Honorable Scholarships.
“We are delighted to award this scholarship to four outstanding students,” said Sue DeStephano, President and CEO. “We look forward to seeing all they accomplish in college and throughout their lives. We have no doubt they’ll make a meaningful impact.”
- Olivia Leiphart is a senior at Dallastown High School. She will attend Duquesne University and major in nursing.
- Kyla Myers is a West York Area High School senior. She will attend Penn State University to major in business administration with plans to pursue family law.
- Om Jethwa is a senior at Central York High School. He will attend Penn State University this fall and major in mechanical engineering.
- Madison Redding is a senior at Northeastern High School. She will attend Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania – Bloomsburg this fall and major in health sciences.
The First Capital scholarship program was renamed the Dennis Flickinger Honorable Scholarship Program in 2016 to honor our former CEO, Dennis Flickinger, who retired in 2015. Dennis advocated for financial education in schools and worked tirelessly to promote Credit Unions as a better choice for their financial future.
