On Thursday, October 17, 2019, First Capital Federal Credit Union celebrated International Credit Union Day with a special event for its members! First Capital provided hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch, offered its members a one-day auto loan promotion, and had door prize drawings for members to win great prizes.
First Capital also used this day to support the United Way of York County. During the week leading up to International Credit Union Day, members and staff were given a goal to raise $250 for the United Way. If they did so, staff would get to throw a pie at the Senior Managers and CEO.
“This was a great team building experience to not only have fun with staff, but to help out a great cause,” said Tara Houser, VP of Marketing and Business Development. “We put the FUN in FUNdraising!”
