First Capital FCU donates $700 to Bell Socialization Services!

On Tuesday, April 20, 2021 First Capital FCU’s VP of Operations, David Morse presented a check to Bell Socialization Services for $700.00.

The money was raised through our First Cap Gives Back program. First Capital FCU selects four charities to support, one per quarter, and Bell Socialization Services was selected as the 1st quarter charity.

“We have a great relationship with Bell Socialization Services, and we were more than thrilled to present this check to them,” said Lisa Barshinger, Community & Business Development Manager. “Our staff and members have always done a great job of giving back, and this was no different.”

The money was raised through Jeans Days, which is a special day employees pay to wear jeans to work…plus a candy bar sale at all of our branches.

First Capital Federal Credit Union is a $287 million asset-size, credit union with more than 20,000 members based in York, PA.  Founded in 1954 as S. Morgan Smith Credit Union, First Capital has merged and grown, and continues to work closely with 600 companies and organizations throughout York County and across the country.
