First Capital Federal Credit Union employees get branded!
YORK, PA (October 22, 2015) — First Capital Federal Credit Union staff spent Columbus Day, October 12, 2015, in Brand Camp and participating in teambuilding exercises. Our team arrived at the Verandah Room at the York Fairgrounds in the morning and learned about branding from Gavin Advertising’s Mandy Arnold. Ms. Arnold talked about how branding is more than just a logo, it’s the experience you have or feelings you get from a particular product/service. After an interactive session, the staff had lunch then launched into several team building exercises courtesy of Teambuilders Training Services. We broke into groups to create a jingle about First Capital; learned that we all are different and need to embrace each other’s differences in order to work well together; and learned that working alone is not always the best idea.
“First Capital FCU may be closed on Columbus Day, but the staff was still hard at work,” said Tara Houser, VP of Marketing. “We use Columbus Day each year for enrichment whether that’s training, team building, or community involvement.” What a rewarding day!
