On February 1, 2019, First Capital staff wore red to support the Go Red for Women movement. First Capital also sponsored a table at the Go Red for Women Luncheon held at the Out Door Country Club. In 2003, the American Heart Association and the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute created National Wear Red Day to take action against heart disease, the number one killer of women. Millions of people all across the country took part in the special awareness day.
