YORK, PA (January 23, 2024) — Throughout the month of December, First Capital Federal Credit Union continued its annual tradition of collecting winter gear on ‘Hat & Mitten’ trees located in its branches. Donations were accepted from members and employees and then on January 17, 2024, given to Bell Socialization Services to keep those in need warm this winter.
“It’s First Capital’s mission to support our community,” said Lisa Barshinger, Community and Business Development Manager. “This is just another way we continue to live our mission of ‘people helping people’.”
Bell Socialization Services offers programs and resources to those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
