For 3rd Quarter 2022, First Capital donated $1,050 to Autism York. This money was raised through various fundraisers throughout our branches, including jeans days and soft pretzel sales. Autism York offers opportunities for families and individuals on the autism spectrum to learn, grow and develop relationships that help guide one another through this journey.
In addition to the $1,050 donation raised during the 3rd Quarter, First Capital also was a $1,000 Platinum Sponsor for the Autism Walk and Expo that was held on April 2, 2022, at the York Revolution Stadium.
“Many of us know someone who has been affected by autism,” said Tara Houser, VP of Marketing & Business Development. “We are proud to provide this money to help our local autism community grow their events and programs.”
Every quarter, a different organization is selected as our FirstCap Gives Back partner. For the 4th Quarter, First Capital will be raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association.
