First Capital Federal Credit Union visits Christian School of York for financial education presentation!

YORK, PA (December 1, 2021) — On Tuesday, November 30, 2021, First Capital FCU visited the Christian School of York to present various financial topics. The students learned about the differences between banks and credit unions, how credit works, and what products and services credit unions offer.

“I can’t tell you how excited I am to get back into the classroom to educate students in-person,” said Lisa Barshinger, Community & Business Development Manager. “Financial education is such a huge passion of mine, any time we are asked to speak, I jump at the opportunity. It all goes back to one of the First Capital’s core values, which is to see our members, and students in York County, succeed financially.”
