First City Credit Union appoints Seun Aiyese as Chief Operating Officer

ALTADENA, CA (March 13, 2024)First City Credit Union is pleased to announce the selection of Seun Aiyese as Chief Operating Officer overseeing its member facing touchpoints including branches, contact center, and operational support teams.  He begins his role effective March 3, 2024.

Aiyese is a senior credit union industry executive with a growth mindset and over 20 years of experience in banking, wealth management, mortgage lending, and member experience.  Aiyese spent 15 years with Wells Fargo in various leadership roles including Regional Bank President managing geographically disbursed business units across multiple locations requiring a deep knowledge and understanding of retail and business banking products and strategies while effectively leading senior level managers.  Aiyese began his credit union journey with GEICO Credit Union in 2018 and most recently served as the Head of Growth and CX at Affinity Credit Union ($4.4 Billion in Assets headquartered in New York, NY).  His duties included overseeing a retail branch network of 20+ locations, operational excellence, an enterprise contact center, mortgage origination, business banking, and a team of Private Bankers and Financial Advisors for wealth management.  Earning his Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Bethel University, Aiyese also completed his Executive Education from the Cornell School of Business, Wharton School of Business, and Oxford University.
