First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union, the #1 ranked credit union in PA by Forbes and leader in financial services innovation and inclusive banking in the Lehigh Valley, is proud to announce it has received two awards from the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) for its annual report and business development entries in the 2021 Diamond Awards marketing competition.
The annual Diamond Awards are an initiative of CUNA’s Marketing and Business Development Council, a member-led, collaborative community of credit union leaders. As the most prestigious annual credit union industry competition, the Diamond Awards recognizes and rewards creative and strategic excellence in design, branding and media, as well as outstanding results and impact among credit union marketing initiatives. “These award-winning marketing efforts not only support our globally recognized brand, but reflects our commitment to mission, vision and core values by providing our members and Employer Partners with an enriched, interactive, digital and personalized experience,” said Tricia Szurgot, Chief Operating Officer at First Commonwealth.
Turnout was outstanding for the year’s awards competition, which accepted entries for marketing and business development efforts that were implemented in 2020, with 1,278 entries submitted across 35 categories. “Credit unions that receive these awards should be extremely proud of their accomplishments and know that their work represents the very best examples of creativity, innovation, relevance and execution,” added Amy McGraw, Diamond Awards Chair and VP Marketing/Chief Experience Officer at Tropical Financial CU.
