First Eagle expands membership eligibility with new financial fitness resource

Adding to its lineup of financial education resources, First Eagle Federal Credit Union recently announced the launch of a new member resource designed to provide financial guidance and education through a partnership with the Financial Fitness Association (FFA). This partnership with FFA allows First Eagle to make credit union membership available to more people than ever before.

Through the partnership, anyone who enrolls in FFA is eligible to join First Eagle. The Credit Union will cover the cost of FFA membership for the first year for new members.

Through the education solutions available from FFA, First Eagle members will be able to learn how to guard against identity theft, understand, manage and improve credit, transition from school to career, engage in financial planning and more. FFA Resources are available to members online and include a library of podcasts, worksheets, financial fitness checklists, calculators, videos and more. Members also receive quarterly newsletters and can access hundreds of educational articles on money management.

“We strive to ‘Make Life Better’ for our members through everything we offer,” said First Eagle Art Brock, CEO. “Our partnership with FFA provides members with access to resources that will help them do exactly that and opens membership to more people. This way, members will have access to not only vital financial education, but also credit union membership benefits, such as the better rates and better service they deserve. Our partnership with FFA is just another way membership at First Eagle truly does make life better for even more people.”
