First Financial promotes financial literacy at Carroll Cash Day

LUTHERVILLE, MD (May 14, 2019)First Financial Federal Credit Union is a champion of financial literacy, so the credit union was proud to step up in support of the cause by providing a $3,000 sponsorship for the 2019 Carroll Cash Days. The spring event will take place on June 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Taneytown Library and First Financial representatives will be on hand to host a financial simulation for the special event.

Carroll Cash Days promote financial education and family fun with a variety of activities that help participants gain a better understanding of saving, earning, and spending wisely. The event is free to the public and features a scavenger hunt, complimentary refreshments, a free credit check, games, giveaways, and free document shredding.

“With education at our core, we love finding ways to support financial literacy in our community,” said Andrea Rapp, Relationship Manager of First Financial. “Carroll Cash Days is a great opportunity and we’re excited to spend the day with people from all over our community, helping them learn how to get financially fit while having fun.”
