I have no doubt Cindy will be a true force on that board and that it will benefit enormously from her contributions.”

As a certified educator in personal finance, Jones is known for spearheading countless successful programs and contributing to ongoing initiatives benefiting area education. Her extensive work in financial literacy and scholarship programs at First Financial add to the volunteer partnership she has already forged with the Foundation, for which she has hosted school supply drives, the BCPSFest, new teacher orientation events, State of the Schools, and Teacher and Principal of the Year programs. Jones will serve as a member on the board of directors for the Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools to support its work in developing initiatives that emphasize literacy across subject areas to prepare students for college and careers and by promoting a positive culture and climate in every school.
