Five supervisory committee members graduate from NACUSAC University

DEL MAR, CA (July 23, 2014) -- In front of a group of supervisory and audit committee members from across the country, five NACUSAC University graduates were honored at a special luncheon held during the National Association of Credit Union Supervisory and Auditing Committees (NACUSAC) 2014 Annual Conference & Exposition in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 13.

Mike Ladner, Supervisory Committee Member of Keesler Federal Credit Union (MS), and Josie King, Board Member of Keesler Federal Credit Union (MS), Allan Micksch, Supervisory Committee Member of Keesler Federal Credit Union (MS), Charles McKinnie, Supervisory Committee Member of Mutual Credit Union (MS), and Jerry Dean, Supervisory Committee Chairman of Mutual Credit Union were recognized for their commitment to furthering their supervisory skills and knowledge. Both completed a three-year program consisting of coursework relating specifically to their supervisory duties. NACUSAC Board Chairman Gerry Dunning presented the graduates with their diplomas and commended them for their commitment to continuing education. The NACUSAC University curriculum consists of satisfactory completion of two levels of study, including twelve courses in the areas of auditing and accounting.

NACUSAC is the only national trade association serving credit union supervisory and auditing committees exclusively. Its mission is to provide leadership, support and education to enhance the ability of credit union supervisory and auditing committee members to fulfill their oversight responsibilities. NACUSAC is headquartered in Del Mar, California.
