Flint Firebirds host 3rd annual First Responders Night sponsored by Dort Federal Credit Union
GRAND BLANC, MI (October 18, 2017) — The Flint Firebirds and Dort Federal Credit Union honored emergency medical personnel, firefighters, police officers, sheriff’s deputies and the Bishop International Airport Police Department on Saturday, October 14th at the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center. On display were local law-enforcement vehicles, fire trucks, and EMT vehicles.
In front of a nearly sold out crowd the night featured Lt. Jeff Neville of Bishop International Airport Police Department along with fellow First Responders representing 8 other agencies dropping the ceremonial puck. The Flint Firebirds game ticket also included admission to the Battle of the Badges game. Five different Flint Firebirds scored goals to come away with a 5-3 victory over the Mississauga Steelheads.
New this year Dort Federal Credit Union is sponsoring the “Firebirds Family 4 Pack”. This pack is valid on Sundays and includes 4 Silver Level reserve tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 sodas, 2 game programs and 2 game pucks, a value of $120 for $76.
