Fort Collins welcomes new Elevations branches and market leader

New branch locations and key staff to expand service to Northern Colorado communities

BOULDER, CO (April 26, 2017) — Today, Elevations Credit Union furthered its commitment to the Fort Collins and Northern Colorado communities by breaking ground on new branch construction at 2025 South College Avenue. Elevations is also acquiring property at 221 East Mountain Avenue in Old Town to build a multi-story development, which will include a branch and community room.

“These two new locations will enable us to better serve members in Larimer County and across Northern Colorado,” said new Northern Colorado Market President Bryan Watkins. “We continue to be humbled by our members’ loyalty, as this growth would not be possible without their support.”

Watkins—a director on the North Fort Collins Business Association and Foothills Rotary Club boards and Larimer County Small Business Development Center advisory board—recently joined Elevations from First National Bank, where he spent more than 15 years cultivating relationships with small businesses and other leaders throughout Northern Colorado.

“Elevations Credit Union has positively impacted our community’s growth in the last few years, and we value their commitment to Fort Collins families and small businesses,” said Fort Collins Councilmember and Elevations Board member Ray Martinez.

The Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce celebrated the South College Avenue groundbreaking with Watkins and other Elevations staff. The Neenan Company, a fully integrated design-build firm based in Colorado, is serving as the architect and general contractor for the South College Avenue branch. The 4,900-square-foot, one-story building will include a drive-through lane that will be accessed off College Avenue and Arthur Drive on the south end of the site. The Neenan Company will lead the redevelopment of the 5,000-square foot space on Mountain Avenue, as well.

“Working with the Elevations team to improve the lives of Fort Collins families and business owners is a natural fit for us,” said The Neenan Company president David Shigekane. “We value our longstanding relationship with Elevations, not only as a client but also for the goodwill it fosters in the Northern Colorado community.”

In the last year, Elevations has been recognized as a top ten mortgage lender in Larimer County; added seven additional mortgage and commercial lending staff; and relocated to a larger, 5,200-square-foot mortgage loan office in Windsor to accommodate growing member needs in the area.

Members can expect the South College Avenue branch to open in late 2017, and the Mountain Avenue branch is expected to open in 2018.

“The vitality of the Fort Collins community is unparalleled and serves as an inspirational force for our team,” added Elevations President and CEO Gerry Agnes. “We feel honored to serve its families and businesses, and we consider ourselves privileged to grow alongside them.”
